Göcek town, which is located in Fethiye district of Muğla and is the starting point of your vacation, offers many accommodation options to visitors with its quality hotels and campgrounds. Göcek, which will steal your heart with its unique bays, magnificent beach, and day boat trips, will also be a safe harbor for your boat. You can spend a very enjoyable day in Göcek, which is the starting point of the Blue Cruise.
With slopes covered in pine trees and magnificent views where green and blue meet, you can anchor or stay overnight at Sarsala Cove at a depth of 10-12 meters. With its long beach, Sarsala Cove allows you to enjoy the sea and the sun.
Located 16 km from Dalaman and easily accessible by commercial taxis, the cove offers restaurants where you can discover different flavors, rent lounge chairs, and a beach volleyball court where you can fully enjoy your holiday.
In Fethiye, which has the largest population among the stops on your route, you will have access to all kinds of facilities you may need. Large shopping centers, ATMs, health centers, and pharmacies, as well as bazaars, vegetable and fish markets, will meet all your needs.
In Fethiye, you can dock at either the private yacht marina or the municipal one. Here, you can connect to electricity and water, refuel, and benefit from the wastewater discharge unit near the marina. Finding a spot in this area, which is suitable for anchoring, can be quite difficult during the summer months, when the tourism season is at its busiest. We recommend reserving a spot after determining your travel dates.
Ölüdeniz, one of the world's paradise corners with its 1.8-kilometer-long beach where you can witness all the beauties of nature, does not have suitable areas for boats to anchor as it is open to the wind. However, the fact that Ölüdeniz receives so much wind has made it the center of paragliding. Paragliding flights, which start in the early morning, continue until sunset. The area is identified with this sport and also has many paragliding schools.
Fethiye's Gemiler Island, which is not a settlement area, is a safe harbor where you can anchor your boat. While Kalevezi Bay offers unique views with its pristine natural beauties, it is calm and peaceful at night despite being busy during the day. On the island, where you will be alone with nature, there are also historical remains belonging to the Lycian and Byzantine periods. Gemiler Island promises you a journey through history with wonderful views of nature.
Located at the foot of the Babadağ Mountain, which is considered a world heritage site due to its rich endemic diversity, the Butterfly Valley takes its name from over 80 butterfly species that inhabit the area. Accommodation is only available in one facility as the region is closed to settlement and any form of construction is prohibited. To camp in the Butterfly Valley, which is an essential destination for nature photographers and camping enthusiasts, you need to obtain permission from the facility located there. You will witness a visual feast accompanied by the crystal blue waters of the valley and the unique natural beauty of Babadağ.
You can enjoy unique flavors in the restaurant in Karacaören Bay, accompanied by its clear waters. By hiking up to the hills above the restaurant, you can experience the breathtaking view of the blue and clear open sea. You can also take a small adrenaline break during your peaceful holiday by taking advantage of the water sports center at the restaurant located in the bay.
The west side of Turunç Pınarı Cove is sheltered from winds, so the westward meltemi winds are not very effective here. There are small rocks spread over a small area that can be easily seen during the daytime. Large boats can anchor about 20-25 meters along the coast that extends from Şahin Burnu to the beach.
You can anchor from the stern on the opposite side of the cove. If you plan to stay overnight, we recommend anchoring close to the shore, taking into consideration the winds that may come. At the end of the cove, there is a facility among the trees and a beautiful beach. You can cool off in the shade of the trees and enjoy the sea and the sun.
Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu visited the cove, originally named Taşyaka, in 1974 and created his famous artwork in the shape of a fish. This work of art, resembling a fish, actually contains depictions of 6 different animals. With the carving of this artwork into a rock, the cove became known as Bedri Rahmi Cove.
You can anchor between 10-15 meters on all coasts of the cove. At the inlet of the cove, on the side of the pier, there is a restaurant that can accommodate up to 35 yachts and provides electricity and water facilities. If you plan to enter this cove, we recommend keeping in mind that the depth of the cove continues to the shore and becomes shallow near the coast.
The final destination of this route, where you will fully enjoy history, culture, and natural beauties, will be Göcek, which is also your starting point. We will be welcoming you at our Göcek location for an unforgettable ending to your magnificent vacation.
